well let me start off by saying i was quite jealous of my hubby! He had the week off and what was nice and relaxing for him was not so much for me!!!! I was happy for him to be off but it was totally not fair that he got to stay home! I am thankful because I have a great husband, who when he does not have to work he still drives me into work and picks me up! who would do that? I think if i had the week off i wouldn't do that but it makes me happy and proud to have such a loving husband!
This week was a little hard for me due to the time change. Even though rod drove me into work i was still sleepy! For example.... i think it was Tuesday. We drove into work as normal except when we got to work the person who unlocks the office was not there yet. So rod and i just waited in the car! Well as we were waiting i decided to do my nails. I went to throw something out of the car with my left hand. As i was tossing out the particles with my left hand, i was going to roll the window up with my right! Now here comes the real funny part.....With my left hand i felt this weird and strange sensation that my arm was hurting, as i looked down at my right hand i realized that i was rolling up my arm in the window and at the point i put two and two together and released my finger from the UP button. WOW, was i not awake! NO obviously not! So from that point on i went in to work with a sad arm and sleepy mind! When i told the girls at work they just laughed at me! i was having a clumsy day! So from now on i declare that i will not throw things out of the window with my left arm...only my right!!! that will avoid any unnecessary rolling up of windows on my behalf!
Rod could only look at me in amazement and didn't know whether to laugh or be concerned!! ha ha!
Even though that happened i am wonderful and am very happy rod got to rest this week!
I enjoy coming home now with the sun still up! i feel more energized to clean and cook, the weary winter evenings left me feeling BLAH! i didn't want to do anything except cuddle under the covers! So yay to the sun for being out at night, You make me happy! Other than that i have not done much...lets see if the weekend is good too!

snow day!!!
well here are a couple of pictures i took on our snow day two sundays ago! It was very nice to see the snow and how a bit of a winter touch! I think our winter came late so it was pretty neat to see the snow around this time! Rod and i enjoyed the day by simply dining in and watching the snow fall! Look and see how beautiful it was!!!

happy valentines day!!!
For valentines day this year rod took me to the Cheesecake Factory. We decided to go along with Kim, Rods sister, and her husband dustin! Rod and i had really good meals and i would encourage any of you to eat there if and when you can! it was sooo good! I got the filet mignon and rod got the shrimp scampi along with mashed potatoes and herb crusted salmon. It looked so good i didnt know what to eat, my food or his!!! we had a good time being together. we all got cheesecake of course, Rod got the lemon-raspberry cheesecake, Dustin got the oreo cheesecake, Kim got the raspberry-chocolate cheesecake and i got their coffee cheesecake! We were all stuffed so we decided to take our lovely cheescakes home with us and finish them off then. It was a nice and simple valentines day for us! I think if you just spend time with the people that you love that is all that matters! every day should be valentines day! Even though we love our spouses and even those around us we should show it all year round, not just on one day! so HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For Christmas this year my mom and dad bought rod and i a pretty bird feeder. I thought it would be nice to put some photos up about my little bird that comes to visit us! he is a fast little guy so i had to take the pictures through the blinds! They are a bit fuzzy, but the birdy wont let me go outside and take them!! Both rod and i enjoy the birds in the morning and love to hear them and watch them eat and play. The same i day i took these pictures we saw a female cardinal but she flew away before i could take a picture!!! Maybe next time!! Once again, thank you mom and dad. Rod and I really enjoy the gift you gave us!!!!!

catching up!!!!
well let me take a breather before i jump in to a long story......wwwwhhhhheeeewwww.
Well two weekends ago Rod and I along with Luke, Erin and the ladies and gent went to the pumpkin patch. Jill, Robert and Abigail (sorry if i spelled incorrectly) accompanied us as well. We had a great time working out way through the corn maze. For my parents who would want to know this information, they changed the multiple choice questions to funny pictures like: a pig taking a bath and the answer would have been hogwash! it was quite cute and it almost gave us something to look forward to in the maze. Once Rod, Amber, Ava and I saw the finish line we raced...Rod coming in first, I came in second, Amber third and little Ava was fourth- only because all the others were last! Hee Hee! The farm had created a fun house type of "ride". they had a large shed with one of those spinning tubes inside. Instead of someone walking on the spinning part they made a bridge that stood still while the tube spun. Needless to say when Ava and I walked through I felt as though I was going to fall over!! It was fun!!!! Ava was a little scared but once I picked her up she liked it! She is so cute!!!! We were sad that Eva, Dave and little emmie couldnt come! I think they would have enjoyed it!
We left the pumpkin farm and returned back to Luke and Erins for dinner and a football game. Rod and I came home from an eventful day with our family and rested. We woke up the next day and Rod was sick for a couple of hours and that Sunday night I woke up with the flu....not exciting but it was bound to happen with all the poeple I work with! I spent the next two days resting and trying to feel better. My Roddy brought me some theraflu and peppermint tea! On the second day I was able to eat some soup and felt up to making Rod some BBQ ribs. My most successful dish have been my ribs! I didnt eat them but Rod ate through them!!!!
We show our appreciation to Luke and Erin for giving us one of their dining tables. We have yet to pick it up, but we will soon have it and be able to envite them over. Not having a dining table is hard to have people over!!! But soon and very soon we will be eating off of a real table!!!! yay!!!!
This weekend we helped a young lady move ot of her apartment with the church. We had a good time helping those around us. Afterwards we were so pooped we came home and crashed. Later we did laundry (most likely 3-4 weeks worth). Then we went to church on Sunday and we had a cookout for Mother Watson! We had steak, sweet potatos and so on! Very yummy!
Here we are today now watching The Sword in The Stone! Rod said he love this when he was a boy and I had not seen it in a while so we rented it and now we are watching it!!!!!!
love you all!!!!!!
