For valentines day this year rod took me to the Cheesecake Factory. We decided to go along with Kim, Rods sister, and her husband dustin! Rod and i had really good meals and i would encourage any of you to eat there if and when you can! it was sooo good! I got the filet mignon and rod got the shrimp scampi along with mashed potatoes and herb crusted salmon. It looked so good i didnt know what to eat, my food or his!!! we had a good time being together. we all got cheesecake of course, Rod got the lemon-raspberry cheesecake, Dustin got the oreo cheesecake, Kim got the raspberry-chocolate cheesecake and i got their coffee cheesecake! We were all stuffed so we decided to take our lovely cheescakes home with us and finish them off then. It was a nice and simple valentines day for us! I think if you just spend time with the people that you love that is all that matters! every day should be valentines day! Even though we love our spouses and even those around us we should show it all year round, not just on one day! so HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For Christmas this year my mom and dad bought rod and i a pretty bird feeder. I thought it would be nice to put some photos up about my little bird that comes to visit us! he is a fast little guy so i had to take the pictures through the blinds! They are a bit fuzzy, but the birdy wont let me go outside and take them!! Both rod and i enjoy the birds in the morning and love to hear them and watch them eat and play. The same i day i took these pictures we saw a female cardinal but she flew away before i could take a picture!!! Maybe next time!! Once again, thank you mom and dad. Rod and I really enjoy the gift you gave us!!!!!

catching up!!!!
well let me take a breather before i jump in to a long story......wwwwhhhhheeeewwww.
Well two weekends ago Rod and I along with Luke, Erin and the ladies and gent went to the pumpkin patch. Jill, Robert and Abigail (sorry if i spelled incorrectly) accompanied us as well. We had a great time working out way through the corn maze. For my parents who would want to know this information, they changed the multiple choice questions to funny pictures like: a pig taking a bath and the answer would have been hogwash! it was quite cute and it almost gave us something to look forward to in the maze. Once Rod, Amber, Ava and I saw the finish line we raced...Rod coming in first, I came in second, Amber third and little Ava was fourth- only because all the others were last! Hee Hee! The farm had created a fun house type of "ride". they had a large shed with one of those spinning tubes inside. Instead of someone walking on the spinning part they made a bridge that stood still while the tube spun. Needless to say when Ava and I walked through I felt as though I was going to fall over!! It was fun!!!! Ava was a little scared but once I picked her up she liked it! She is so cute!!!! We were sad that Eva, Dave and little emmie couldnt come! I think they would have enjoyed it!
We left the pumpkin farm and returned back to Luke and Erins for dinner and a football game. Rod and I came home from an eventful day with our family and rested. We woke up the next day and Rod was sick for a couple of hours and that Sunday night I woke up with the flu....not exciting but it was bound to happen with all the poeple I work with! I spent the next two days resting and trying to feel better. My Roddy brought me some theraflu and peppermint tea! On the second day I was able to eat some soup and felt up to making Rod some BBQ ribs. My most successful dish have been my ribs! I didnt eat them but Rod ate through them!!!!
We show our appreciation to Luke and Erin for giving us one of their dining tables. We have yet to pick it up, but we will soon have it and be able to envite them over. Not having a dining table is hard to have people over!!! But soon and very soon we will be eating off of a real table!!!! yay!!!!
This weekend we helped a young lady move ot of her apartment with the church. We had a good time helping those around us. Afterwards we were so pooped we came home and crashed. Later we did laundry (most likely 3-4 weeks worth). Then we went to church on Sunday and we had a cookout for Mother Watson! We had steak, sweet potatos and so on! Very yummy!
Here we are today now watching The Sword in The Stone! Rod said he love this when he was a boy and I had not seen it in a while so we rented it and now we are watching it!!!!!!
love you all!!!!!!

good afternoon america!
well to all those fans of mine here is the new scoop! Rod and I are enjoying the married life- i didnt think i would say this but i like to cook!!! some times it can be relaxing and mind clearing! it allows me to get all my thoughts processed from that day.
we had a great weekend with both families. On friday i spent time with erin and amber, ava and andrew. We had a good time just chatting and catching up. then on friday night we met up with one of our couple friends, they have been married for three years and can give us some advice but it is nice to be around poeple who have things in common with us. We also ate dinner at Dustin and Kim's apartment (rods sister and brother-in-law). We celebrated the Kempers (rods parents) 27th anniversary! that was nice. Other than that we have not really done much. We are trying to get our apartment clean, but with work and other activities such as church and cooking and all those good married things we hardly get anything done. We do a little every night- what seems to be a pile that should go away over the days, somehow it gets bigger!! not my intentions at all!!!! AHHHHH!!!
Thanks to my sister erin we have a coffee table/eating table! we used it last night for the first time and enjoyed the fact that we didnt have to sit hot plates on our laps or worry about spilling our drinks on the carpet!!! so thank you erin!!! Thanks to my family for helping me move in, i know i did not write cards yet but i wanted to say thank you for all your hard work and helping us out. Thank you mom and dad for coming- it was beautiful ceremony with you both there. I love you and miss you. Thank you to eva and david- and baby too! all the good times and help is appreciated. And with out any further ado i thank erin and luke for letting me settle in their basement room for a year! as well as all the other amenities provided for me as well. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

i would like a detailed report on everyones 4th of july...even if you didnt do anything!!! heehee
